Naruto stumbled through the door of his apartment, slinging his backpack off his shoulder and letting out a heavy sigh. "Man, I am beat," he said to himself, rubbing his tired eyes. But his exhaustion was short-lived, as he was greeted by the sight of his teammate, Sakura, sitting on his couch looking annoyed.
"Ugh, of course you're late. You're always late," she said, not bothering to look up from her phone.
Naruto grinned, undeterred by her attitude. "Hey, I'm here now! What's up, Sakura-chan?"
Sakura let out a heavy sigh and finally looked up at him. "I need your help with a mission. It's a little...unconventional."
Naruto's interest was piqued. "Unconventional, huh? I'm in. What do you need me to do?"
Sakura hesitated, looking uncomfortable. "I need you to pose as my boyfriend for a day. To make my ex-boyfriend jealous."
Naruto's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, what? You want me to be your fake boyfriend?"
Sakura nodded. "I know it's ridiculous, but I need your help. You're the only one who can pull this off."
Naruto couldn't help but feel a little flattered. "Sure thing, Sakura-chan! I'll do anything for you."
And so, the two of them set off to the town, where they ran into Sakura's ex, Sasuke. Naruto, playing the part of Sakura's boyfriend, couldn't help but show off.
"Hey, Sasuke! Look at me and Sakura-chan, we're so happy together!" Naruto said, grinning from ear to ear.
Sakura rolled her eyes, clearly embarrassed. "Naruto, stop it. You're being ridiculous."
Sasuke, unimpressed, simply nodded and walked away. Naruto and Sakura continued their charade, but Naruto couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
"Sakura-chan, are you sure this is what you want? I don't want to make you uncomfortable," Naruto said, looking at her with concern.
Sakura forced a smile. "It's fine, Naruto. Let's just keep going."
As the day went on, Naruto and Sakura found themselves in a quiet alley. Naruto, still playing the part, tried to make a move on Sakura.
"Sakura-chan, I've been wanting to do this all day..." Naruto said, his voice low and husky.
Sakura pushed him away, a look of annoyance on her face. "Naruto, stop! This isn't real. We're just pretending."
Naruto stepped back, embarrassed. Sakura, feeling guilty, decided to lighten the mood.
"Fine, Naruto. If you're going to insist on playing the part, let's do it right," she said, grabbing him and pulling him in for a kiss.
Naruto was taken aback, but he quickly kissed her back. The kiss was passionate, with Sakura taking the lead. Naruto was overwhelmed, but he couldn't help but follow.
When Sakura broke the kiss, she looked at Naruto with a smirk. "Not bad, Naruto. Not bad at all."
Naruto blushed, still trying to catch his breath. "S-Sakura-chan, I didn't know you felt this way..."
Sakura laughed, patting him on the shoulder. "Don't be silly, Naruto. This was just for show."
Naruto's face fell, and Sakura felt a pang of guilt.
"But, Naruto...I do like you. I just didn't know how to show it," she said, looking at him with sincerity.
Naruto's face lit up. "R-really?"
Sakura nodded. "Yes, really. But, we can't let this get in the way of our mission."
Naruto understood. "I
