When the God of Sun Stumbles Upon Lunar Lust: Apollo's Not-So-Virginal Hunt for Orion

Chapter One: A Goddess’s Indiscretion

The Silver Grove was a place of tranquility, a sacred sanctuary hidden deep within the woods where the goddess Artemis retreated to practice her archery and bask in the glow of the moon. The trees towered above, their leaves shimmering with silver as the moonlight filtered through the canopy, casting an ethereal glow over the clearing. It was here that Artemis felt most at home, away from the prying eyes of her fellow gods and the demands of her many followers.

Artemis stood in the center of the grove, her lithe form poised as she drew back the string of her bow. Her eyes were focused on a distant tree, her mind clear and calm as she took aim. With a swift release, the arrow soared through the air, piercing the bark of the tree with unerring precision. Artemis couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction as she watched the arrow quiver in the tree, a testament to her skill and dedication.

Lost in her practice, Artemis didn’t hear the rustling of leaves as her brother Apollo approached. It wasn’t until he spoke that she realized she was no longer alone.

“Artemis, my dear sister,” Apollo greeted, his voice warm and welcoming as he stepped into the clearing. Artemis turned to face him, her cheeks flushed with exertion. She offered him a hesitant smile, her nerves suddenly on edge.

“Apollo, what brings you here?” she asked, her fingers toying with the strings of her bow. Apollo cocked his head, his eyes narrowing in concern as he studied his sister.

“I could ask you the same thing, Artemis. You seem nervous, my dear. Is everything alright?” he asked, his voice gentle. Artemis’s heart skipped a beat as she realized she couldn’t hide her secret from him any longer. She averted her gaze, her fingers tightening around her bow.

“Everything is fine, Apollo. I was simply practicing my archery,” she replied, her voice strained. Apollo stepped closer, his eyes searching her face.

“Artemis, I know you better than anyone. Something is troubling you. Tell me, what is it?” he asked, his voice insistent. Artemis hesitated, her mind racing as she tried to find a way to conceal the truth. But it was no use. She could see the determination in her brother’s eyes, and she knew she couldn’t keep her secret from him any longer.

With a deep breath, Artemis met Apollo’s gaze, her eyes filled with shame. “I have broken my vow of chastity, Apollo. I have lain with one of my hunters, Orion,” she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. Apollo’s eyes widened in shock, his face paling as he took a step back.

“Artemis, what have you done?” he asked, his voice laced with disbelief. Artemis’s heart ached as she saw the hurt in her brother’s eyes. She knew she had disappointed him, but she couldn’t regret her actions.

“I know it’s wrong, Apollo. I know I have broken my vow. But I can’t regret what has happened. Orion is a skilled hunter, and a valuable member of my group. I couldn’t help the way I felt,” she pleaded, her voice trembling. Apollo’s face darkened, his eyes filled with anger.

“He’s a mortal, Artemis. He doesn’t deserve to be in the presence of a goddess, let alone touch one,” he spat, his voice filled with disgust. Artemis’s heart ached as she saw the contempt in her brother’s eyes. She knew he didn’t understand, but she couldn’t let him hurt Orion.

“Please, Apollo. Don’t do anything rash. Orion is a good man, and he means no harm. He’s simply a mortal who was caught up in something beyond his control,” she implored, her voice desperate. Apollo scoffed, his eyes filled with disbelief.

“You’re the goddess of chastity, Artemis. You can’t just break your vows whenever you feel like it,” he
