When the Goddesses Got Together: A Hilarious Tale of Postpartum Shenanigans, Breastfeeding Mishaps, and Male Gods Fainting at the Sight of Birth

Chapter One: The Goddesses Gather

The lavish garden of Hera, the goddess of marriage, was filled with the sweet scent of flowers and the soft coos of babies. Brigitte, the goddess of fertility, Amphitrite, the goddess of the sea, and Persephone, the goddess of the underworld, each carrying their newborn babies, made their way to the center of the garden where Hera was already seated.

"Ah, my dear friends, you've made it," Hera said, a small smile playing on her lips.

Brigitte, with a playful smirk, looked around and commented, "Fit for a goddess of marriage, but not for a goddess of fun and candy."

Hera rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "At least my garden isn't full of screaming children and sticky fingers."

Amphitrite and Persephone shared a laugh at the playful banter between Brigitte and Hera. They settled down and began to breastfeed/bottle feed their babies, commenting on their eating habits.

Brigitte noted how Solace, her son, "has a hearty appetite, just like his father."

Hera agreed, saying Jason, her son, "has the same insatiable appetite as his father, Zeus."

Amphitrite and Persephone shared a look, both thinking about how their husbands, Poseidon and Hades, weren't as present in their children's lives as Apollo and Zeus were.

The goddesses began to discuss how their husbands had been treating them since they were postpartum. Brigitte shared how Apollo had been pampering her, bringing her flowers and serenading her with his lyre.

Hera scoffed and said, "Zeus has been 'clueless as ever,' not knowing how to help me with the baby."

Amphitrite and Persephone shared their experiences, saying their husbands had been distant and not as involved in the baby's life as they would like.

Brigitte, with a playful grin, suggested, "Why don't we teach our husbands a lesson and take control of our own lives?"

Hera, Amphitrite, and Persephone agreed, and the goddesses began to brainstorm ideas on how to do so.

The chapter ends with the goddesses giggling and plotting, while their babies sleep peacefully in their arms. The goddesses of marriage, fertility, the sea, and the underworld were not to be underestimated. They were strong, controlling and direct and they were ready to take charge of their own lives. The goddesses were ready to show their husbands that they were not just wives and mothers, but powerful deities in their own right.
