The cozy living room of the gods was filled with sunlight and laughter, as Apollo watched his 10-month-old daughter, Bryer, play with her toys. Her brown hair and dark eyes sparkled with curiosity as she cooed and gurgled, completely oblivious to the fact that she was the daughter of a god.
Apollo, with curly blonde hair and blue eyes, leaned back on the plush couch and couldn't help but smile at his little girl. She was the light of his life, and he loved every moment he spent with her. But she was also a handful, and he knew that she was going to grow up to be a strong and independent woman, just like her mother.
As Bryer reached for a toy that Apollo was holding, he gently took it out of her reach and said, "Bryer, you can't have this."
Bryer clapped her hands at Apollo, and he gasped, "Did you just clap at me, ma'am? That was not nice, Bryer. That was sassy."
Dionysus, purple-haired god of wine and revelry, snickered beside Apollo and said, "It's not funny."
Apollo looked at Bryer, puzzled, and asked, "Where did all that sass come from?"
Dionysus chuckled, "From you, of course. You're the god of the sun, but she's the goddess of sass."
Apollo rolled his eyes, "Oh, please. I'm not that sassy."
Dionysus grinned, "Oh, yes, you are. You're just used to people worshiping you for it."
Bryer held up her finger, and Apollo laughed, "And there it is again. That is sassy."
Dionysus laughed, "She's got you wrapped around her finger, Apollo. You better watch out."
Apollo tickled Bryer, who giggled and clapped her hands.
Dionysus raised his glass, "To the sassy sunshine and her doting father."
Apollo blushed, "I'm not doting."
Dionysus winked, "Of course, you're not. But she's got you wrapped around her finger, and we both know it."
Apollo smiled, "Yes, she does. And I wouldn't have it any other way."
As Bryer grew older, Apollo knew that her sassiness would only increase. But he also knew that it was a part of who she was, and he wouldn't change it for anything in the world. She was his sassy sunshine, and he loved her with all his heart.
And as the years went by, Apollo would often find himself wrapped around her finger, doting on her every need and whim. And he wouldn't have it any other way. Because she was his sassy sunshine, and she brought light and joy into his life.
And even though she was a goddess in her own right, Apollo knew that she would always be his little girl, and he would always be there to guide her and support her, no matter what.
So, he raised his glass and toasted to the sassy sunshine, his daughter Bryer, and the many adventures that lay ahead for them.
