Whispers of Risk

Whispers of Risk

Chapter 1: The Dangerous Game

Anna leaned against the plush arm of the couch, her sharp green eyes glinting with mischief as she sipped her wine. The room buzzed with the low hum of a party in full swing just beyond the closed door of the study. Matthew stood across from her, his tie loosened, a smirk playing on his lips as he mirrored her gaze. They’d slipped away from the crowd, the thrill of secrecy already igniting a fire between them.

‘So, you think you can keep quiet?’ Anna teased, her voice a low purr as she set her glass down on the side table. Her black dress hugged every curve, and she knew damn well the effect it had on him. She crossed her legs deliberately, the slit in her skirt revealing a flash of thigh.

Matthew chuckled, stepping closer, his presence commanding even in the dim light. ‘Me? I’m not the one who moans like a damn siren. Question is, can *you* keep that pretty mouth shut?’

She arched a brow, unfazed, and stood to meet him, her heels clicking softly on the hardwood floor. ‘Oh, honey, I can play this game better than you. But if you’re scared of a little risk, we can go back to small talk with the suits out there.’ Her tone dripped with challenge, her lips curling into a wicked smile.

‘Scared?’ Matthew shot back, closing the distance until their bodies were mere inches apart. His breath was warm against her cheek, and she could feel the heat radiating from him. ‘I’m just wondering how long it’ll take before you’re begging me to make you scream.’

Anna laughed, sharp and confident, her hand trailing up his chest to tug at his collar. ‘Begging? Sweetheart, I don’t beg. I take what I want.’ Her fingers slid down to his belt, her touch bold and unapologetic. ‘And right now, I want to see if you’re all talk.’

His eyes darkened, a low growl escaping his throat as he gripped her hips, pulling her flush against him. She could feel how hard he was already, the evidence pressing insistently against her. ‘Careful, Anna. You’re playing with fire.’

‘Good,’ she whispered, her lips brushing his ear. ‘I like it hot.’

In one swift motion, Matthew pushed her back onto the couch, the cushions sinking under their weight. She didn’t resist, but her gaze never wavered, daring him to keep up. Her dress rode up as she wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him down. Their mouths crashed together, hungry and fierce, teeth nipping, tongues battling for dominance. The muffled laughter and clinking glasses from the party outside only heightened the stakes—if they were caught, there’d be hell to pay.

Anna’s hands roamed, yanking his shirt from his trousers, her nails grazing his skin. ‘You’ve got ten minutes before someone notices we’re gone,’ she panted, her voice husky with need. ‘Better make it count.’

Matthew grinned, his fingers already working the zipper of her dress. ‘Oh, I’ll make you feel every damn second.’ His hand slipped beneath the fabric, finding her wet and ready, and she bit her lip to stifle a gasp. The tension was electric, their bodies sweating with anticipation, her pussy aching for more as his touch teased her closer to the edge.

The door handle rattled suddenly, a voice calling from the other side. Their eyes locked, hearts pounding, but Anna’s smirk only widened. ‘Don’t stop now,’ she hissed, her voice dripping with defiance. ‘I’m just getting started.’
