White Hair, Blue Eyes: A Royal Psychosis - When Power, Lust, and Revenge Collide

Chapter One: A Reunion of Sorts

Alice lay in her hospital bed, her white hair fanned out on the pillow, her blue eyes staring at the blank ceiling. She could hear the commotion outside her room, the guards announcing the arrival of the king. Her heart raced in her chest, and she couldn't help but think back to the last time she saw him. It was a night that was etched in her memory, a night that had led to her current hospitalization.

The door to her room swung open, and the king walked in, his dark eyes scanning the room until they landed on her. Alice's heart pounded in her chest, and she felt a familiar fear creeping up. She started screaming, thrashing against the restraints that held her down.

"Alice, it's okay. I'm here to help you," the king said, his voice calm and soothing.

But Alice was having none of it. She was in the throes of a psychotic break, her mind racing with memories of the night she was raped, the night she was held captive in the dungeon for a year by the man who killed her father.

"You monster! You murderer!" Alice screamed, her voice hoarse.

The king approached her slowly, his hands held up in a gesture of peace. "Alice, I had no idea about what happened to you. I promise to make things right, to protect you."

Alice's mind was racing, her thoughts a jumbled mess. She remembered the night her father took over the kingdom, the night he killed the former king. She had been just a child, innocent and unaware of the atrocities her father had committed.

"You're a liar! You're just like him!" Alice spat, her words laced with venom.

The king took a deep breath, his eyes never leaving Alice's. "Alice, I understand why you're angry. I would be too if I were in your shoes. But I promise you, I will do everything in my power to make things right."

Alice was skeptical, but something in the king's words touched her. She started to calm down, her breathing evening out. "Why didn't you protect me? Why didn't you stop him?"

The king looked pained, his eyes filled with regret. "I was powerless to stop him, Alice. I had no idea what he was capable of until it was too late."

Alice felt a surge of anger, her fists clenched. "You're not fit to be a king! You're weak and pathetic!"

The king took the insult in stride, his expression unchanged. "You may be right, Alice. But I promise you, I will do everything in my power to make things right."

Alice softened, her anger dissipating. She realized that she had never seen this side of the king before. She listened as he told her about his own traumatic past, about the pain and suffering he had endured.

The king reached out to Alice, and she flinched, her body tensing. He pulled back, and Alice realized that she was still scared of him.

"I'm sorry," Alice whispered, her voice barely above a whisper.

The king smiled, his eyes warm. "It's okay, Alice. I understand."

Alice took a deep breath and told the king that she was willing to give him a chance. The king was relieved, his shoulders relaxing.

"I won't let you down again, Alice," the king said, his voice filled with determination.

Alice started to trust the king, their conversation heating up as they bonded over their shared pain. The king told Alice that he had always admired her strength and courage.

Alice felt a spark of attraction towards the king, a feeling she had never experienced before. She leaned in closer, her eyes locked on his.

The king noticed the change in Alice's demeanor and leaned in closer, his eyes filled with desire.

"I won't hurt you, Alice," the king whispered, his breath warm against her skin.

Alice nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. She was taking a chance, but she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation.

The king leaned in closer, his lips brushing against Alice's. She closed her eyes, surrendering to the moment.

It was a reunion of sorts, a new beginning for both of them.
