White Hair, Blue Eyes: The Uncrowned Queen's Passionate Rebellion

Chapter One: A Royal Reunion

Alice lay in her hospital bed, her icy blue eyes scanning the sterile room. She was a striking figure, with her pure white hair cascading down her shoulders like a waterfall. Her mind was a whirlwind of memories she wished she could forget, but they haunted her relentlessly.

The sound of the door opening snapped her back to reality. The guards entered, their faces stoic as they announced, "The new king is on his way to visit you, Princess Alice."

Her heart skipped a beat at the mention of his name. Fear and anger coursed through her veins, and she squeezed her eyes shut, willing herself to stay calm.

The door opened again, and in walked the man who now ruled her father's kingdom. He was tall and imposing, with dark hair and piercing green eyes. She couldn't help but remember the day the guards had told her that her father, the former king, had been killed. The grief and shock had been overwhelming, and she had felt her world crumbling around her.

But the pain didn't stop there. The man who took over the kingdom had held her captive in the dungeon, raping her and breaking her spirit. She had tried to escape, jumping out of a window and injuring herself in the process. And even now, she was still recovering in the hospital.

As the new king approached her bedside, Alice began to scream, her mind spiraling out of control. She couldn't bear the thought of being near him, of being reminded of the horrors she had endured.

The king tried to calm her, but Alice was beyond reason. Her mind was reliving the nightmare of the past year, and she couldn't escape it. She remembered the man who had taken everything from her, the one who had left her broken and battered.

"You're a usurper! A monster!" she screamed, her voice hoarse from the effort.

The king tried to explain that he had no part in her father's death, but Alice was beyond hearing him. She remembered the day she had tried to escape, the day she had jumped out of the window and was restrained. She had been so desperate to get away from her captor, but she had only ended up hurting herself.

But even in the midst of her pain, she remembered the man who had helped her. He had killed her captor and set her free. She didn't know his name, but she would never forget his face.

She looked at the new king, her eyes filled with hatred and distrust. He was nothing but a liar and a coward, a man who had stolen the throne and broken her spirit.

The king tried to reach out to her, but Alice pulled away, her mind still racing with memories. She couldn't bear the thought of being touched by him, of being reminded of the horrors of the past year.

"You're a liar! A coward!" she spat, her words sharp and cutting.

The king looked at her, his face a mask of sadness and regret. He knew he couldn't change the past, but he wanted to help her move on from it.

But Alice was having none of it. She was content to lie in her hospital bed, her mind lost in memories of a time before the kingdom was torn apart. She knew she couldn't trust the new king, not after what she had been through.

And so, she was left alone with her thoughts, her heart filled with anger and fear. She knew she had to find a way to cope with her trauma, to move on from the horrors of the past year.

But for now, she was content to stay in her hospital bed, her mind lost in memories of a time before the kingdom was torn apart.
